Carlin is out of our 2021 Magnum x Carly litter. His show career started at a young age, receiving Best Beginner Puppy in Show at the Amana, Iowa dog show in 2021. He completed his Championship quickly by the time he was seven months old and his Grand Championship before he turned one year old. He has received multiple Owner-Handler Reserve Best in Shows, multiple Owner-Handler Group wins, numerous Owner-Handler Group placements, Best in Specialty Show, and has placed in the regular Sporting Group. At the 2022 nationals, Carlin won his Twelve to Fifteen month Sweepstakes class. He is working on his Silver Grand Championship.

Carlin not only excels in the ring but also in the field. He has an extreme amount of natural ability and a very good nose. He consistently points on scent from more than twenty yards away. He easily completed his Junior Hunter in the 2022 fall season, with his last run receiving a perfect score. He will begin training for Master in the spring.

Carlin is extremely biddable and is a joy to work with for obedience and rally. He completed his Rally Novice title at the 2022 Nationals and finished his Rally Intermediate and Beginner Novice titles in June 2023. His first time in the Beginner Novice ring he received first place and a score of 197. He is always willing to please and attentive to whoever is on the end of his leash. At home, Carlin settles easily and is the perfect family companion.
